Thank you for choosing ParresiArt.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have fourteen days after receiving your item to request a return, unless otherwise specified.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be returned in the same condition as you received it, without any damage or alterations and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, you need to contact us at refund@parresiart.com or call us at +39 344 419 7222, providing your name and address, invoice number, and the items you wish to return. If the return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, along with instructions on how and where to send the package. Items returned without prior return request will not be accepted.

In case the product is defective or damaged upon delivery, or you are returning the item because we delivered it to you by mistake, and you decide to cancel the purchase within fourteen days, we will refund you the cost of the item and the delivery cost.

We will not refund the shipping costs for returning the item if you were informed of defects in the product, meaning you were aware of the product's less than optimal condition at the time of purchase, and decided to purchase it at a discounted price due to some deformity, damage, or defect.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and resolve it.

Upon receiving the goods delivered by the courier, the Customer, before accepting the package, must check the integrity of the packaging in front of the courier. In case the packaging shows tampering, damage and/or more or less visible impacts or is wet, or in case the courier refuses to wait for the inspection by the Customer, the Customer must sign by placing the wording "subject to control" on the transport document, whether paper or digital. This will allow us to initiate a dispute procedure against the courier.

Carefully check the package upon delivery and, if possible, open it in the presence of the courier. At this point, the Customer should note any anomalies found in the packaging on the delivery receipt or the courier's terminal, and, if necessary, also in the product, trying to be as detailed as possible. In case the package and/or the product are damaged, the Customer can refuse the package or accept it with reservations. It is advisable to document both the sealed package and the contents after opening it with photos or videos: in case of damages, it will be necessary to demonstrate the courier's responsibility and receive a refund and/or compensation from the insurance company.

If you are returning an item due to our error or because the item is damaged, we will arrange for the pickup of the wrong or damaged item and provide you with a replacement item at our expense (but not if you were informed of defects in the product, meaning you were aware of the product's less than optimal condition at the time of purchase, and decided to purchase it with some deformity, damage, or defect). Please contact our office by email or phone within fourteen working days from the date of delivery of the item, specifying your name and address, the invoice and order number, the items you wish to return, and whether the item was sent in error or was damaged during transit. Please do not return items at your own expense; we will arrange a convenient day with you to collect the wrong/damaged item.

Each returned item must be packaged in its original packaging, considered an integral part of the purchased item.

The delivery of the correct item or the replacement of a damaged item will be made as soon as possible and will be agreed with you by phone or email.

 

European Union 14-day Cooling-off Period

If the goods are shipped to the European Union, the consumer has the right to cancel or return the order within 14 working days, for any reason and without justification (right of withdrawal). As above, your item must be in the same condition as you received it, without any damage or alterations and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If you decide to cancel the purchase within the 14-day cooling-off period and there is no error on our part, we will refund you the cost of the item and the delivery cost to you.  you were informed of defects in the product, meaning you were aware of the product's less than optimal condition at the time of purchase, and decided to purchase it with some deformity, damage, or defect).

The Customer declares to be aware that, even if a consumer and even if the goods are shipped to and from the European Union, they cannot exercise the right of withdrawal provided for in articles 64 et seq. Consumer Code if the order concerns the supply of goods packaged on request or clearly personalized or which, by their nature, cannot be resold, such as all fine-art prints or Giclée prints as production carried out at the express request of the Customer, all works carried out at the express request of the Customer, and/or all works bearing a dedication from the artist to the customer as personalization of the product, under art. 55, second paragraph, lett. d) Legislative Decree 206/2005 and subsequent amendments.

 

Refunds

We will inform you once we have received and inspected your return, and we will let you know if the refund has been approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded via your original payment method within 15 working days. Please note that it may take time for your bank or credit card company to process and credit the refund. Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as personalized products: commissioned or customized works, prints and/or frames made to order. The Customer declares to be aware that, if a consumer, they cannot exercise the right of withdrawal provided for by the relevant articles of the Consumer Code if the order concerns the supply of goods packaged on request or clearly personalized or which, by their nature, cannot be resold, such as all fine-art prints or Giclée prints as production carried out at the express request of the Customer, all works or additional works such as assembly, framing, and artisanal packaging carried out at the express request of the Customer through the adherence to the contract and/or all works bearing a dedication from the artist to the customer, under art. 55, second paragraph, lett. d) Legislative Decree 206/2005 and subsequent amendments.

Following the purchase of unique original works, paintings, or applied art, these can be dedicated to the customer on the back or on a useful surface of the work with a dedication, name of the buyer, place, date, and signature by Tommaso Starace. Artist Tommaso Starace applies the dedication to the buyer upon request: the customer during the purchase phase can specify the name they want to be placed for the personalized dedication. Bearing in mind what has been specified, all unique original works will be framed, and the related custom packaging will be commissioned to third parties, and all reproducible works such as fine art prints or Giclée prints or framings will be carried out at the customer's express request through the adherence to the contract and the act of purchase, therefore the customer cannot benefit from the right of withdrawal, both in Europe and elsewhere, unless the product is defective or damaged upon delivery, and the customer is not already aware of any original defects or damages to the product.

In entirely exceptional circumstances, at the total discretion of Tommaso Starace, the Customer, even if a consumer, may be granted the cancellation of the order only if the production, dedication, printing, and/or requested services have not been started, which occurs within 15 working days. The request for the return of the paid price must be communicated in writing (at least by email) and will entail the withholding of an amount equal to 50.00 Euros as a management cost.
